May also perform current research and broaden understanding of issues related to area of specialty.  Must continue working toward a graduate degree throughout the assistantship.

Graduate Instructor

Graduate Library Assistant

Assist with managing library collections and digital content management systems. May research artifacts and archival material to add information to digital finding aids and library catalog, enhance accessibility for teaching and research and assist with other special projects. Graduate Research Assistant

Assist faculty with research projects either currently involved in or proposing. Perform research activities related to grant or fund requirements while progressing toward an advanced degree. Graduate Teaching Assistant

Provide support for the administration of a course and classroom instruction, and other related responsibilities which may include: overseeing AV equipment, leading discussion, tutorial and laboratory sections, teaching undergraduate-level course, ordering and distributing classroom materials, setting up a laboratory, demonstrating use of equipment, enforcing lab rules, preparing materials for a discussion section, posting materials online, assisting with recording grades. Must participate in the graduate assistant teaching orientation (GATO) and continue working toward a graduate degree throughout the assistantship.

Assignments may vary by college, school or division (CSD). This position is not eligible for a tuition waiver.

Student Assistant Events, Recreation, and Athletics

Student Assistant Paraprofessional

Perform a wide range of office and other paraprofessional responsibilities for the university. Work could include mid-level and above office and clerical duties that are more complex in nature. Some additional work under this title might include administrative office support, customer service, retail services, tour guide, exam proctor, communications support, child development/childcare, tutor, and other related work.
